Services

Residential.
Commercial. Both.

From small homes to multi-level condos, mom-and-pop shops to lift stations. Licensed, insured, and working the Coast since 1994.

Power Panels & Upgrades

The panel decides
what your house can do.

An electrician comes out, works out what the house actually needs, and sizes the panel to it. Old panels get brought up to code rather than nursed along.

Six signs yours is due, straight from their own page:

  • The breaker trips often
  • It trips when you plug in one particular appliance
  • There is a burned spot near a wall outlet
  • The breaker box smells like it is burning
  • The breaker box is hissing
  • Your devices overheat often, or quickly

Standby Generators

Always have
a plan B.

Guice sells, sizes, designs and installs standby generators. If you already bought one somewhere else, they will install that too.

The generator they recommend is Fortress, for three reasons they name themselves:

  • Premium protection for a home or a business
  • A six-year warranty on parts, labor and travel
  • A standard oil warmer, so it starts in cold weather

Repairs & Renovations

Flickering lights.
Dead rooms.

They find the source and fix it, then bring the system up to code if it needs it. After a remodel, the pretty new room still needs wiring that can carry it.

  • Light fixture installation
  • Circuit installation
  • Switch replacement
  • Wiring repair
  • Breaker replacement

Motors & Controls

The Grinder
Pump Doctor.

That is what they call themselves, and it is earned. Guice specializes in sewage lift station work and will take on any electrical motor or control system.

Motor replacement

Troubleshot, assessed, then rebuilt to like-new or replaced. They sell, design and repair motors and pumps.

Float switches & relays

Float switch repair, relay repair and installation, and the electrical hook-ups that feed them.

Control panel diagnostics

Panels traced and diagnosed so the machines come back online, and stay online.

Pumps carried include J.H. Wright, Zoeller, Myers and Zepco. Service lists on this page are taken from Guice Electric’s own published pages.
